| Happy to hear everyone is safe. We were supposed to get severe thunderstorms last night. They never materialized. There was alot of lightening, but no thunder to go with it. Thinking it was all heat lightening. It was brutal yesterday. Can't be complaining yet. Summer hasn't started in ernest. | |

| By the time the foolishness got here, it had petered out to nothing for which I was grateful. I needed some sleep! Right now, we have the house open. The humidity is down and it's a comfortable 71 degrees and sunny. | |

| Penth has requested I inform everyone she and her family are okay despite the Tornado Warning her county was under earlier this evening. I am doing okay after this mornings severe thunderstorms rocked The Metro area. We may be floating later. Flash flooding is a very real probability tonight. Hope everyone is all right in those areas of the country effected by the bad weather today. Thinking of a Olympic sized aegis over all of you. | |

| I"m here just to let you know that our satellite signal strength is slowly coming back. I should be on at least for a while tomorrow. Hopefully tonight's round will be "it" for the weekend. Nite all. | |

| We've got incoming. There is a Severe Thunderstorm Warning out for the county directly west of us and the storms are moving straight east. *sigh* I'll probably be offline tonight too although I'm hoping to be here at some point later tonight. Everyone be safe. | |

| The first line has gone through -- heavy rain and a little wind -- and another round is on the way but it seems to be losing strength. Our signal strength isn't all that great but it is enough of me to get here so I'm not gonna complain. Catch ya when I can. | |

| It's about to get noisy around here. Wave 1 is around 1 and 1/2 hours away. We are expecting 60 to 70 mile per hour winds, HEAVY rain and hail. Just what a body needs to be going on while one's trying to get some sleep. Flooding is imminent too. Anyone have a boat I can borrow? | |

| I was wrong. Another round of storms woke me up at 6, followed by another around 8. We had a power outage at some point but I don't know when. Needless to say, I didn't sleep well and, naturally, Skywise has the really late shift tonight -- unless they change it... | |

Our luck held and the meso storm that produced a tornado west of here weakened considerably by the time it got here. We should be in the clear for a few hours before the next wave gets here. | |

| In stereo Rudy. Sweet! We had another round of severe thunderstorms last night. We got an additional 4 inches of rain in under 2 hours. This cause flash flooding all over town. Apartment complexes and homes were being evacuated along Indian Creek in the wee hours of this morning. A Volvo dealership lost some of its cars to the flooding. They were floating down stream and down street. Alot of clean up was going on today. Tonight has been calm and quiet. | |
