How's the weather!?

After standing in the middle of an almost one I'd have to agree with Penth.

Thankfully there is no rain (so far) with the wind.

Well, maybe not fun, but interesting.

I hear the siren and instead of taking cover I usually look around outside.

The one time I decided to pass on going outside and hurried my butt to the nearest interior closet was when I went to the door and found that the wind was so hard that I couldn't open it. And that door was supposed to open inward, not outward, so it wasn't that the wind was against it, but rather suctioning it closed.

There was the time I predicted that the tornado siren was about to start and I was right....rain hadn't started yet and we weren't under any watches or warnings (that I knew of, though it's quite possible we were, actually). It was warm out with a warm and humid breeze blowing. Suddenly, from the opposite direction a rather chilly breeze blew. Looked up and saw clouds rotating directly above me.

Then the siren finally kicked in.

Did I go in that time? Only long enough to check that the building I was next to had a basement stairway right by the entrance I was at, then proceeded back outside. Admittedly not the brightest thing to do, but I LOVE summer storms. Even having one in the general vicinity though not in my exact location sometimes euphorically high. Summer storms. Any other season and they don't have that effect, make me headachey instead. But summer storms I love.

Granted, if I ever saw one bearing down on me up close and personal, my opinion and actions would probably change drastically, admittedly.

ive driven literally INTO 2 tornados while out road tripping but of course that was at night so i didnt know they were naders, it was a blast though, til Josh smashed a beer bottle in my truck trying to throw it out the window on one of em.

me, ex1, and Z were heading home one afternoon and were driving straight into another one but it blew across the road before we got to it so it wasnt all that exciting.

then the one that grazed the edge of town 2 falls ago during our towns fall festival. i senced it coming and told everyone and while they were ducking for cover, i ran out into it to find my son who was with Blake's wife and their son. good thing too cause they were all ducking away in the WORST possible place and i got em outta there. hell, the nader siren didnt even go off that day....

Partly sunny skies, 44 degrees, 68% humidity and northwesterly winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Spring is coming! I don't know about everyone else, but I am SO ready for it.

Cloudy and cool this morning. Rather nice actually.

62*F with thunderstorms on the way.
looks like the majority of it will go south of me unless the the winds start kicking up in a north eastern direction. then i could be in for some fun!

last i checked in the lower to mid 50's.

Mid 60's here and cloudy. Got my windows open and getting this apartment aired out.
