My daughter watches this horrific little child on Monday's and seriously -- WOW!


She got to hear this morning that I AM NOT the kind of person that will repeat everything - she can listen the first time when someone tells her -- OR I will come and get her, and make her sit in time out in my office and she WILL CRY.




It never ceases to amaze me how worthless some people are at "parenting" ... like they do not even attempt it .. not really.

I lost a friend yesterday and only found out about it today. He died suddenly and although we were expecting him to pass eventually from the cancer, he was still vital enough that he was driving around, eating at the restaurant, and lucid. I've lost two friends since Feb. To cancer and this is almost to much to take. RIP Lyle I am gonna miss you.

its been a nice dark rainy stormy day today, kinad pisses me off that i slept through most of it.
waiting on JT to get into town.

Yeah, messed up school starts and ends here. I mean why would you think it a good idea to start and stop school in the middle of the week?

6pm is the best time to swim. The water is still warm but the sun won't make you blind and burnt.

The severe winter that gripped the nation this last season caused many a snow day. This is the last week for some school districts in the area. You got to make up for those days that were called on account of snow, sleet, freezing rain and exteme cold. To all those members of The Coven who are out of school, "HAVE AN AWESOME SUMMER!".

somehow, Z's school seems to be able to by-pass how many days of school kids are sposta go. they started at the regular time of year, but i can count on both hands (actually more like 1 hand) how many full weeks they went. most of the time they had 3 to 4 day school weeks.... if it wasnt holidays, it was teachers institution days or parent teacher confrences every week to every other week it seemed like. plus they missed several days for the winter weather. of course, nowadays, they call off schools around here if theres an inch of snow on the ground around here. gods, i remember back in the day riding the buss to school with 3 feet of snow and the roads not even plowed. and gods forbid we miss a day.... it seemed like they added on an extra week of school for each day we missed.

gotta find a way to get to the next town to get some cash for tonight.
going with Blakus and his dad to eldred. (thats code for going to 2 different towns and like 3 or 4 different bars down south to shoot pool all night).
and stuff.....

well, apparently we're not taking off til sometime after 5pm.

seen 2 of chea's kittens a little while ago, they look like emmy only smaller and fuzzier.
might go play some golf for a while.

its finally started to cloud up here.
might have time for one more round of golf before i have to leave.
checked the lottery numbers for last night and lo and behold, i matched 3 of the 5 numbers on one line and matched the power ball on another so i get a whole wopping $10. now if the power ball was on the same line as the other numbers i woulda got $100 i think it was.
got an email from NS finally.

Ah memories.

The icestorm didn't stop them from having school. I walked to school, and for every two steps forward the wind was literally blowing me a step back.

One of the teachers driving in took pity on me when I was attempting to cross the road and slipped and was being blown back across the ice even though I was sitting.

We did get a snow day when about a foot fell one morning and the temperatures were 20 below, and windy.....my friend and I went sledding in said subzero temperatures and wind. I got minor frost burn on my lips...(I wouldn't call it as bad as frost bite, but my lip did swell up).

Wishing we could go to the beach, had planned on it this summer. stupid oil

Now now, is not the oil's fault that BP is stupid.

need to get prilosec while grocery shopping. theres nothing better than spotting up stomach acid.
