Watching Curse of the Golden Flower. Sitting here thinking how to deal with an outright rebellious teenager who no longer listens to anyone and has it in her head that I am here to do her bidding. She's been in trouble with the cops again. I'm ready to let them take her to juvie to teach her a lesson.

shes at the age now where kids need their parents to be more like friends. this is the age, to them, where their "friends" suggestions means more than parents suggestions. and when a parent is more like a friend (at this particular age), the child typically learns more responsibility. you know, the whole older wiser friend scenario. something i learned via Blakus' parents as oppossed to mine....

im heading out for the night. gonna find something to eat and either play some golf or watch a movie. plus my computer is wanting to run some updates.

failing miserably about not being on the computer
ranting on my forum since I'm sure no one wants to hear me complaining. again.

I'm in cranky debate mode. And so revisiting old "friends."

And wondering how come my personal experiences and observations never seem to match these studies that everyone cites...in fact seem to counter them in lots of ways.

I can come up with reasons for some of the studies, and why they don't match reality, that would legitimately apply (to some) but to apply those reasons to all of the studies is kind of paranoid...

And then it becomes more agreement than disagreement. Agree on the facts, differ on the attitude...or differ on our interpretation of the attitude....something.

Debates are interesting things when they don't turn into a rant-fest, and I need to put my money where my mouth is and stop with the passive-aggressive language if I want to bother to convince anyone. It doesn't feel passive-aggressive at the time though.

just checking in. havent been in too much of an internet mood lately due it being hotter than hell in this room plus working on a bunch of different home and vehicle projects for my oldest brother since i actually have more knowledge and experience about what to do. also been swimming the last couple evenings at his house but im taking a break from that tonight since his kids are tired and grouchy today.

thinking about either playing my guitar or beersbie.
then hitting the shower.

change of plans, JT is on his way over.

Getting on my weekend groove. 26 hours to go.

trying to catch back up and then hopefully heading over to USS to catch up.

im off to find something to do around the house.

almost 4am. the sun should start lighting up the sky soon....
im bored outta my mind.

Waiting for Load # 3 to get itself dry in the dryer. Got two more loads to go, but that can wait until tomorrow morning. After I get the bed completely made up, it's off to the post office to mail a bill I got today, getting something to eat and taking another shower. It's been DAMNED hot today.

sitting here still drunk cause my brother from IN woke me up around 4pm after only being asleep for maybe 3 hours and got me drinking again.

and of course im still drinking.

gotta hit the hay soon cause i gotta be up and working on the pool deck by 0730.

gonna head to bed now.
if i wake up tomorrow and get pissed off, well...... it wont be pretty.

Gonna head off and do something with hubby before I get too tired.
