Whatcha doin? III

House has too many problems with it to make it worthwhile. Old siding, rotting frames. Additionally, most of the yard is in shade (neighbor's pine trees), and we'd have to take up the entire water-damaged deck that they extended across most of the lot to the garage in order to make use of the yard.

And that's just what we could tell from the exterior. Looked like looking in windows they were careful with the camera angles to not show certain bits of damage to the interior of the house as well....

Oh well, at least I've done the math and know that price wise, it's potentially doable if I find a decent house at a similar price....

Winding down after a bitch of a day. The corporate office in Rhode Island lost power, and we couldn't process insurance claims. The customers were none too pleased, and let us know it. The power was knocked out by inclement weather. Not much we can do about that, but ask The Powers That Be, politely, to please keep it to a minimum. The outage lasted 5 hours. We were, FINALLY, completely caught up by the time I left at 9 PM. Exhausted!

Feeling motivated to actually get started on an idea I've been toying with for some time, an oracle deck based on my academic interests.

Would combine: Oracles, ars memoria/memory theater, mythology, and be structured on a specific room commissioned by one of the Medici (Studiolo of Francesco de' Medici-which itself combines all of the above except the oracle idea....).

It will be research-heavy. So if I follow through, I will be here a lot less (though I might eventually start posting in the divination forum for feedback....though the interest is so specific I suspect it might bore anyone but me.... ).
