Few years back I had a wisdom tooth that was giving me hell (for some bizarre reason eating chicken would invariably cause it to hurt in an excruciating manner for several days afterward, no matter how quickly I brushed after eating, never did figure that one out).

Up until about two days before it was to be pulled, was living from aspirin to aspirin (another interesting fact, Aspirin has never helped any pain I've ever experienced, except for that tooth. Ibuprofin has helped every pain, except for that tooth).

Stopped taking it before pulling b/c I know its a blood thinner.

Dentist pulls tooth. Prescribes tylenol with codeine, after I TOLD him no codeine (dad was clinically dead from codeine, it was lucky that it "killed" him in the medical unit while he was in the Guard, where they were able to revive him. Mom passed out within minutes of taking it. So it is probably not a good idea for me to have codeine and I explained this). I didn't find that out though until after I went to pick up the prescription. Returned it to pharmacist.

The aftereffects of the pulling of the wisdom tooth hurt far less (even without painkillers) than the tooth did while it was in (even WITH the aspirin).

And this being when I was dogsitting two hyper dogs, one of which was a former laboratory dog and had major fears of certain people and did a midnight escape into the backyard when the parents of the owners of the dog dropped in to leave some stuff (he's terrified of the wife's father, though he's never done anything that they can figure out that was frightening in his presence, we think he reminds the dog of someone nasty from the laboratory).

So I'm running around outside at midnight in the rain the day after having my tooth pulled, trying to coax a frightened hound to come back in the house, who keeps running away every time I get him near the door (poor thing). I think it was two hours before I finally got him in and dried off, and he was still shaking and looking around corners apprehensively. That dog overheats when he gets scared, it's like a fever coming up from him.

And the first day of classes was the next morning.

I was just happy it wasn't hurting.

I have small teeth, so I just had to keep a wad of gauze stuck in the hole for a few days.

Went for a walk in beautiful sunny weather with 70 degree temps. Took my camera and just enjoyed myself. Awesome.

right now, im doing nothing.
but ill take a shower here in a few and prolly grill out some steaks.

Just took a nap and got up. Now debating about what to do next.

dont really feel like watching any movies at the moment.

i did read some intersting stuff in one of my brewing books though. which makes me wanna beat the shit of dipshit fucks who drink beer but dont know anything about it.

Sitting here trying to wake up but actually nodding off at the keyboard.

well, the basement didnt flood so thats good.
still gotta sort out the bottles i cleaned last night and put em away.
then JT should be here soon i would imagine.

bottles are sorted and put up.
now i just have to sit here and wait for JT to get here.

Waiting for the rest of the pie to cool down and see if I can salvage what's left.

i spose i better go play another round of golf, watch a movie, and take a nap. lol

Getting ready to cross campus and pull slides to scan, now that I'm done with these platbooks. (PARTY!!!!)

Of course, that means I'll be off the computer for the rest of the day, so unless I take laptop to the cafe over the weekend at some point, see you all next Monday.

Gggrrr, I've gained some weight. Ironically enough, it's not in my middle or my thighs or my ass. It's in my freakin chest. How did I manage to go up from a 36 small D to a 36 D full cup? I've actually gone down a jean size in my bottom half area...

What am I doing? Sitting here puzzled about my dilemma.
