Dreading getting my car inspected tomorrow. If it doesn't pass, I can't get the license tags renewed until all necessary repairs have been completed. I have until the end of February, and have a little, and I don't use the term lightly, room. Hope nothing major needs doing. Can't afford it right now. Wish I knew someone who is a mechanic, and will work for next to nothing. Need a serious break now. Lord Hephaistos have mercy!

my opinion, if the state wants vehicle inspections, they should shell out the money for the repairs since "we the people" berely make enough money to live let alone pay for new car repairs.

of course, i think Blakus gave me his cold the other day cause i woke up with a sore throat and chest and a cough.
hopefully both of us are feeling up to par tomorrow night so we can brew again.
running into Erin the other day was cool, havent seen her in like 5 years so we swapped phone numbers again.
and stuff.....

THANK YOU!!! Another person who sees the logical side of things. Want all of us drivers to be driving "safe" vehicles, FORK OVER THE CASH! The taxpayers make sure the state employees get a steady paycheck. It's time they repay us. It's not asking much. Is it? If so, I am SO sorry. Just feeling a little used right now. Been placed between a rock and a hard place, and I HATE it.

aye gotta love the government, as long as theyre fucking "we the people" just enough that we can hardly scrape by, they stay in control of "we the people".... and isnt it just convenient that they plan shit like inspections right at tax return time too.... "ok, heres your money, but oh wait, heres a bill for this or that so go ahead and give it back now"..... of course gas and electric companies and damn near ever other bill collector of "we the people" do shit like that too.... fuckin pricks!!

brewing went fine last night. unfortunately both Blake and i were sick so we of course wore face mask thingies while we were near the brew.
im feeling better today. the cold has moved down to my lungs so nothing a bit of coughing wont take care of.

but its just a big money maker for the state here in IL.... they tried to tell us the same thing here for years but the locals knew better. hell, the state ended up estimating that the deer population in the county i live in alone is over 3 times the human population. and thats not taking into account the surrounding counties, the deer there is only maybe twice to three times the size of what the human population is. which is why theyve been extending the hunting seasons, but that also just puts more money in the politicians pockets. oh, and they also sell kill and lay permits too (cant think of the actual name of them but i know people who have them). basically, they shell out a few a grand to get the license to kill deer on sight and just leave em lay for the coyotes and other such animals to help control the population. which still doesnt put a dent in the population cause obviously not everyone can afford the license. honestly, if a person is gonna eat what they kill, i have no problems with them breaking "mans law" to get it.

ETA: their called nuisance permits!

We see all sorts of deer around this area. And they are usually in the cornfields or the roads late night.
