| Ok long story short my spouse is in the midst of of transitioning ( transgender) and with that he is making a lot of changes physically, but now we are working on inner stuff. So it means a lot of changes to his diet and such. But what I want to know is how do you cut down your cholesterol ? It is so far the only area in his tests that need to be worked on so any advice to pass onto him would be appreciated | |

| You cut cut down on the LDL(bad cholesterol) by eating less meat and dairy products. Use olive oil in cooking. Garlic helps keep the levels down. There is red rice yeast. It acts just like the prescription drugs in lowering LDL. That's a few ways to get it under control. There are nore, but my brain isn't workin all that well tonight. | |

| Thank you for your response WD I appreciate it a lot We do use garlic a lot already and we usually eat chicken and on the occasion beef but it is not very often. As for the red rice yeast I have never heard of that before so I will do some research where that is concerned thanks for your post | |

| Fiber! And that can be thru foods, not trying to drink a fiber supplement - FIBER makes a HUGE difference. And it sounds odd but more magnesium too! Because the steps are start with what goes in your body, but also how it gets IN your body through the digestion system too. The science now about the intestinal track, and how it really is a brain center for your body. The way that we eat tends to really coat the tracks and not allow the good stuff to even get in -- but the bad manages to bully thru .. t | |
