3 more days and then the boy is on winter break

seriously... my parents have known me for 32 years now. they know that almost every job ive had was an overnight job. they even tell people stories about me even as a baby/child never sleeping at night. yet they still cant figure it out....
i need to hit the shower and then try to force myself to stay up a few more hours. 48 aint too bad eh?

well, i feel like a moron. it didnt dawn on me that when they said the eclipse was the 21st that they meant the early morning of the 21st. lol
not that it mattered much cause it was cloudy here anyway.
gotta call out to the winery and hopefully stop by there tonight to get some wine bottles for making mead.

then head downstairs to start cleaning up the 4 cases of wine bottles i got from the winery today.

well, its snowing....
and it looks like the original weather predictions were right after all cause we have atleast 4 inches already....

im just hoping the highways are pretty clear so i can get some cheap beer.
im borrowing JT's old caprice with a V8 and rear wheel drive since RD has my car up north. the caprice is a car that can easily cruise at 90mph without even having the RPMs up plus is doesnt handle well on snow since the tires are bald.

ya know, it doesnt really feel all that cold out.
with the snow coming down and stuff, this would be an awesome night for a bonfire.

well, thats enough cleaning today.
got the dishes all waRshed and it took 4 rounds to do them all in.
stove cleaned up and ready for tomorrow.
and the floors vvaaccuummeedd.
now we're just waiting on JT to get here so we can either kill zombies or play golf.

got my red ale racked over into a keg.
turns out both Blakus's tapped keg and my tapped keg are pretty much cashed out so we will prolly clean them up tonight too.
gotta clean out the water jugs and refill them with filtered water for tonights brewing.

my recent batch of stout is fermenting along nicely. was kinda worried as it took a bit longer than usual to start.
as soon as im done drinking this cheap bear, im gonna pour myself a pint of the red ale to see how the carbonation is coming along.
my aunt has offered to help cover some of the cost of the mead making as ive found out its not as cheap to make as i thought, the 1lbs bag of yeast energizer was $13 alone... hell, 2 more dollars and i coulda bought a 3lbs bag of DME for beer. not to mention if you want to use good quality honey instead of the shit you can buy at walmart or wine/brew stores. still need to call the guy that makes and sells the local honey to see what kinda bargains i can get, if its possible. but im gonna wait a couple days to call him due to it being the holidays. ffs, even the hand wine corker is twice as expensive as a hand beer capper. hell, its the same price as the table mount lever action beer capper like i have mounting on the bottling table.
i can definately see why mead costs $20+ per bottle now....

i need some new movies. i think ive watched all of mine atleast 10 times over the last few months. some of them more like 30 times.

I keep getting amazed whenever I notice that at least half of the forums I go to I only go to when I'm wanting a dose of drama or mischief. Any other time they are just plain boring and easily forgotten...

I think I have been doing that for about a year or so. right now I'm slowly but surely getting out of that rut.
