the halloween carnival was a success! i think this was the busiest year yet!
brewing went great last night.
JT and i put up his new big ass double seated deer stand this morning and that went pretty well giving sometimes theyre a royal pain in the ass to put up.
need to get showered ASAP so RD, Z, and i can go out to eat for our anniversary.
then see if my oldest brother wants to get his deer stands moved even though hes scared of heights and never hunts out of em.... lmao

when there used to be a grade school here in this little town that i used to go to. we used to have halloween carnivals every year. the old part of the school was tore down but the town kept the gym, lunch room, and 3 class rooms from being demolished. years went by without a halloween carnival. on townsman decided that that tradition should remain and started it back up. and of course, i run the sound for it every year now and since everyone is afraid of me, nobody ever protests.

well, that was fun. atleast my brother's deer stands werent as heavy as the one JT bought the other day!
plus, i get to hunt out of em since my brother is scared of heights anyway!

well this sucks. i took my bow into a bow shop to get it "tuned up" because the arrow rest wasnt staying in place and now i have to leave it overnight for them to work on. of course, what shoulda taken 10 minutes ended up obviously being longer due to one part being fucked up. but tomorrow i can get it and practice up.

Now I know why I felt like crap today. Annie's friend Jessie passed away today. She was 11.

I got to talk to my son tonight. I'm so happy.

illinois elections.
on a possitive note, the republicans now hold more seats in IL state government than the democrats for a change so now maybe this state can make a good turn around since we all already know that the democrats have done nothing but destroy the state of illinois over the last 70+ years.
on the negative side, quinn won the govenor election... BUT, the state still holds to the right to oust him if his "bagobitch ethics" dont improve. how he ever got re-elected i will never know, hes already proven that hes just as bad as the previous govenor. hell, even die hard democrats i know, hate the guy.
i think its high time illinois follows in missouri's foot steps and segrates the chicago area and its suburbs from the rest of the state like MO did with st. louis.
i need to get my bow back today so i can practice.

well, that sucks, my bow has something wrong with its framing and mechanics that cant be fixed so it will never fling an arrow out correctly. but atleast i can still work with it. just goes to show that sometimes used stuff isnt worth it.
then again, i spose old fashioned bows were never spot on accurate 100% of the time either.
anyway, im kicking back drinking a beer.
waiting on 3pm or so for when Blakus and JT get off work.

walmart sell worm meds for cats. that might be a cheaper option.

sadly it appears around here they don't have stuff for tapeworm OTC just roundworm. so vet visit is still needed.

well that sucks... come to think of it, i think the walmarts up here dont carry anything for tape worm either, just the ringworm.

im still waiting on RD to wake up to find out if we even have any money for grocery shopping... but damn, bbq ribs sounds loverly.

We only had that much because the dears at the office refuse to let us use food money for rent. Got reassured when we went to paid that everything is fine and we are not going to be made to go anywhere.

The owners are the type that think when you say you are broke it just means you can't take a trip to Disney or go out to that 5 star restaurant. Lynn and Brent (the office managers) are starting to set the owners straight about the residents here.
