I right there with you Kat. Got to get my tickets for my upcoming vacation to see my mother and brother the week of Mother's Day. Wondering where I can pull the funds from the budget. Right now I am IMing with Penth, and fighting another nagging headache.

Skywise was telling me about the guy that was here yesterday. Apparently he had plats of the area with information on who owns what around here. He didn't know that Skywise would recognize them for what they were. Wonder how many of our neighbors got visits from him yesterday. He's typical of so many people. HE has a problem and he expects everyone else to jump through whatever hoops are necessary to solve it for him. If he expects Skywise and me to tear up our land for his Censored

waterline and then quietly put up with the inconvenience when something goes wrong with it and it needs repairs, he is gonna be badly disappointed! Flaming Mad

If it was our next door neighbor, a guy we know, there would be no problem. The people across the road. Again, no prob. SOME IDIOT THAT DIDN'T BOTHER TO DO BASIC RESEARCH BEFORE HE SIGNED THE PURCHASE PAPERS AND IS NOW IN A JAM...BIG PROBLEM!!!!

Here's hoping he has to sell the land at a loss. And here's hoping I have the cash to buy him out when the time comes!

Now, my busy is little brain is wondering how "I" would solve a "no water on my land" problem. "I" certainly would NOT depend on a waterline of a thousand or so feet running though the "wilderness."
Nope, not for me! Too many ways it could go wrong.
Have a mentioned here the Boil Order that this system had late last summer? The one that went on for several weeks while they kept flushing the system trying to found out where and how the water was being contaminated? Yeah. Why should I deal with that?
So, if I were to acquire that bonehead's land and wanted some H2O available, what would be required? I'm thinking a lake to start.....

We've already done our errands. Recycling will probably be next week or the week after since it will take the better part of an hour to get to the nearest recycling dropoff, we like to have the back of the van full when we go.

The local authorities DO tend to frown on that sort of activity or at least that has been my observation.
