| Worrying.
A friend with a serious case of lupus is in the ER this afternoon with a leaking heart valve. The doctors don't want to do surgery because her overall physical condition isn't good plus most replacement heart valves are made from pigs and our friend is allergic to pork. She's a Conservative Christian and she's asked us to pray for her. (She doesn't know I'm a little pagan person.) Anyway, the valve is apparently leaking more as she's having pain that the doctor thinks is caused by the valve, hence the ER.
Spirit is in our room crying. She understands more than her autism lets her express but when she cares, she cares with her whole heart and soul.

| Just ordered some hard to find fabric online. It's heavy and the cost of shipping is a bitch as in about half of what the fabric costs. I'm going to get some blood red chiffon from them later which will cost less and SHOULD be cheaper to ship!
I also ordered a hard to find trim (Greek key worked in silver and black) from another vendor.
Yes, there is some sewing in my future. Among other things, I've worn out my favorite "summer" jacket and I need to make a new one -- hence the order for "hard to find" fabric that I used to be able to get about anywhere. *sigh* | |
