| I just got an email from Dike. Her comp has got the croup again. [She sent the email from the library.] She and her sister are going to tackle the problem either tomorrow or Saturday so we won't be seeing her tonight and probably not tomorrow either. She's swearing that she's getting a new system as soon as her tax refund arrives. She's also swearing, period. | |

| I suddenly find myself with a deadline.
I have to get some stuff together and get it out in tomorrow's mail. Rewriting is required.

| Okay. The major rewriting is done. I'm going to take a break, eat and then go over it again before I print it out. Need to write the cover letter but that won't take long since it's pretty standard.
Looks like tying up my offspring and locking them in a closet won't be necessary after all.... | |

| sorry i havent been online in a while! im just in a phase where i dont really feel the need to even look at my computer. i go through that quite often BTW. i know, i know, pathetic for someone running a forum and a homepage isnt it!? lol

the beer i bottled yesterday morning at 1am turned out INCREDIBLE!! by far the best one ive made yet! grant it, its ABV is only 7.2%, but its incredible nonetheless!!
Blakus and i will prolly be bottling on sunday and possible brewing again.
its been weird in my house the last few days. its winter, but for some reason its felt just as hot as summer inside. in fact, i even have a window open at the moment even though its like 20*F outside. ive even been sleeping in just my boxers and no covers at all with the fan on.
NS's new childrens book seems to be coming along nicely and shes had tons of requests for it already even though its not been published yet. shes been working on the illustrations for the book and possibly even a movie/cartoon version of the book and is contemplating even being the voice for one of the characters or the narrator (whichever), shes been speaking with publishers and lawyers about it all.
also, i guess RD and i are going to that pagan gathering down in the ozarks for a week for the summer solstice. this should be interensting.... a paleo-pagan (me) with hundreds and hundreds of neo-pagans.... its pretty much a disaster waiting to happen me thinks.... i will be bringing my OWN brews though.

| I hear you about the shoes, Sita! Most places don't even carry my size, including the local Wal-Mart. I need some new "everyday" shoes and I'm going to have to go to Greenwood and pay through the nose for them at Shoe Carnival and they won't be any better than the ones I used to get at Wal-Mart. | |

| I've been to both but when you wear an 11 (regular, not wide) with a narrow heel, you can't be real choosy. You check every place that sells shoes and hope that you find something that fits without rubbing blisters on your heels. | |
