| i liked the old school wrestling before they turned it into days of our lives with body slams. but in the last few years, ive grown quite fond of UFC/MMA fighting. | |

| oh yeah! i miss the 80s wrestling!! a whole 5 seconds of trash talking and you could watch like 10 matches in the time it was on TV!
but now.... 5 minute intro to the show, commercial, 5 minutes of trash talking by each wrestler, commercial, locker room interviews, commercial, ring entrance, commercial, 2 minute matches, repeat. and like a grand total of what? 4 or 5 fights per episode? lol | |

| aye! he did an awful lot of talking even back then! but i guess he did make the sport popular. my favs had to be roudy roddy pipper and jake the snake roberts from the old days though. | |

| I'm going to regret posting this... Back in the late 70's to '81 I was a bartender (part time) the Charlotte Coliseum was across the street. For you youngun's this was in the day of ACC wrestling. On Sundays, after the matches, the wrestlers used to come over for a beer. It was... interesting.
And I will add that I am not a fan. | |
