It has caused me pain and blindness for years and affecting my sweetumheart (Native Joke) worse as well. Having been experiencing the pain for years I know how it can affect your ability to drive during the day, the headaches, and the ability to live in the light in general as well. I'm so glad for the existence of the Graveyard Shift for others like us. The shadows of night are a blessing.

| The sun is out today. I really hate the sun anymore. Sunglasses don't really help all that much. I can't wait until my eyes go back to normal. | |

oh yeah, i have the polorized transition lens on my glasses plus the polorized sun glasses clippy thing to go over em! i have toxoplasmosis and am legally blind in my right eye anyway. hell, legally blind in both eyes honestly. my right eye is 20/1000 with or without glasses. my left eye is 20/400 without and 20/40 at best with glasses. but that was a couple years ago. eventually, i will go completely blind. fun fun eh!?

Mine is caused from my Graves Disease. I am just really glad i don't have it as bad as some people do. I don't ever want to tape my eye shut to go to sleep. Sunglasses just don't help my sensitivity to the sun all that much. Eventually it will go away.

im lucky, toxoplasmosis is a blood parasite. theres like 3 different types of toxo that animals get but this one is the one animals and humans can get. last i was told by doctors was thats theres not much they can do for it. as the parasites die, they collect in the smallest blood vessels in the body, which happen to be in the eyes, and build up slowly over time from there. even a complete eye transplant (i dont even know if thats possible) would be a temporary thing before it starts blinding. fortunately for me, it will kill me in the end.

[Yeah, when you hang with a pharmacy technician whose mother is a nurse you pick up these things. We won't discuss the influence of certain EMTs.] aye, itll kill em, but where will they collect.... the slower they die off, the longer i will be able to see.
