What Movie Are You Watching?/Did You Last Watch?

what's the last movie you watched? The last movie I went to was when I took my kid to go see Planet 51. It was pretty funny but I need to go see a regular non cartoony/CGI movie soon.

probably HP and the half blood prince. or indiana jones and the kindom of the crystal skull. which ever one is the newest.

best one yet film wise! of course, im not much of a reader so ive never read the books. ive heard some mixed reviews about this movie and the last one. but all in all, when it comes to the movie and the special effects and stuff... hell yeah!!

yeah? thats good. maybe i'll watch it sometime. since OotP sucked donkey balls (am i allowed to say that here?) i didn't wanna watch the HP movies.

ooh! Nightmare Before Christmas is on! I love this movie! too bad it's halfway through. the beginning is epic.

The last movie I saw in a theatre was "2012". I have already aired my feelings about that one. Last weekend I pulled out my DVD copy of "Elizabeth". Forgot how wonder the whole thing was. It plays with the timeline a little bit, but it was forgivable. Love the scenary, sets and costumes. Only thing is, they forgot to mention that King Henrys son, Edward VI, ruled before both his older sisters. He died at age 16, of what is now called Tuberculosis. Would love to see a historical drama centered aroung the young king. With the popularity of "The Tudors", we just may see that yet.

"Dog Soldiers" on The Chiller Network. Love Kevin McKidd. Hope to see his career blossum.

It was extremely unoriginal, I know Hollywood lacks originality but there were at least a half dozen points where you could say "hey, that is from...". It was also extremely preachy. I think Cameron put so much into the special effects and the world that he forgot he had a story to tell.

To quote the song title from The Barenaked Ladies, "It's all been done!" Hollywood is, indeed, out of ideas. You can tell it is by the number of remakes that are being put out. Watched the trailer for "The A-Team". About cried. What's next? I shudder at the thought.

if he would get his head outta his ass, now would be the ideal time for george lucas to make star wars episodes 7, 8, & 9. lets face it, mark hamill, carrie fisher, harrison ford, and hell, even billy dee williams if they really need to cast him, are at the prime age right now for the last half of the saga.

i dont know what lucas is waiting for.... ive heard rumors he wants to wait til the actors are dead so he can make 100% computer generated versions of them. but hell, hes older than they are and more likely to kick the bucket first if thats the case.

and the original actors/actress knowing how successful star wars has become, they would be idiots not to jump all over their old roles.
