Whatcha doing? IV

Recovering from having to get the ole pharmacy in shape for a visit from our corporations VP. Everyone was falling over themselves in a tizzy. He is just another grain of sand in the desert of time. I can't get excited about it. All we get is alot of you need to do this, that or the other better. Haven't heard anything positive come out of his mouth. Hope he has come and gone ny the time I get to work. Liable to go off half cocked.

sitting around drinking. thinking about mowing the yard today if it doesnt rain.

computer needs to restart since it just got done doing some updates.
spose i should get dressed and do some weed eating before i mow.

well, mowed 1/2 the yard. didnt look much different, so i stopped.
walked down to the piddley little grocery store to get smokes.
showers.
now i have nothing to do.
might go play golf.

trying to prepare myself for a summer of complaint from the boy.
I have decided that he is not allowed out without one of us again.
Been too many times recent that he either hasn't checked in when he should or not been where I could find him when needed (like inside someone's apartment without telling me)

oh, i remember the good ol days of never checking in with my parents or whoever and never being where i was sposta be. grand times it was, grand times! damn... makes me wish i was a kid again....

Sadly times were different back then.
I remember not having to check in, but did have to be where I said I would. Or very serious (at least to a kid) punishment was had.

Doesn't help that I'm a worrier and always assume the worst

i dont think things were much different back then than they are now, just theres more news coverage now than there used to be. well, that, and the fact that modern society has drifted towards the "you dont have a right to defend yourself" mindset....



didnt sleep much cause Blakus and kids woke me up.
now im waiting on RD to get home so we can go out to eat.

Winding down, and getting ready to head to Neosho, Missouri for a dress rehearsal for the towns Ren Fest. Our VP came by for his visit today. He was quite happy with our store. He noticed we were understaffed, and authorized us to hire some more help. He, also, overheard a customer telling me he thought we were understaffed, and couldn't wait to get his prescription filled if it was going to take over 15 minutes to fill it. He was using the damned drive thru, and thought 20 minutes was too long after he had waited at the Drop-Off for over 10 minutes without getting waited on. He went to Walgreens. It took that to give the higher ups a clue as to our situation. About time!

just got caught up on here.
need to take a shower.
then RD wants us to go to jville.

all showered.
just gotta put my shirt on and we'll be ready to go.
still dunno if i wanna see a movie or not though. i hate going to theaters.

guess im gonna go play the golf game for a while. i r bored.

Sitting here drinking coffee and waiting for the excedrin to kick in. Then going to take a shower and possibly do my dishes after if I feel up to it.

Still recovering from near heat exhaustion I had in Neosho yesterday. Still don't feel back to normal. Just going to rest and relax this evening. Got everything on my "Must Do" list for today.

since RD is up and getting ready for work, i spose i better get dressed so i run my errands today.

Trying to wrangle in my anger that built up at work today. Being away from the pharmacy has helped, but my "Irish" side was about to come to the surface. That would NOT have been a pretty site.
