| Bleach my eyes out ( ok except for the 16 yr old warewolf eyecandy... yowza on Jacob Black) the movie.. is craptastic!
Bad acting, at least this one had a bigger budget for effects. Better than Twilight. When Jacob and Edward were on screen shirtless, all the 11 yr old girls in the audience whohooed. I read the books, I had to see it... I should know better.

| i never even heard of it til this past friday when my neices and SIL were trying to get tickets to go see it. i guess my oldest neice has read the book(s) like 2 or 3 times each or something crazy like that!  | |

| I'm in a Border's Bookstore at least once a week so things like Twilight and Harry Potter end up on my radar although I usually head for the metaphysical and science fiction/fantasy sections for browsing purposes. As far as "The Twilight Saga" is concerned I doubt you've missed much, Rudy. Fairly standard "teen romance" with vampires, werewolves and other such paranormal trappings thrown in. There are better paranormal series out there.
I DO hope, however, than once my books are on the shelves, they will generate "twilight-like" sales and media hype.... | |

| With all due respect, I have no intention of seeing this. The vampire thing has been so over done in the last two decades. I did love "Forever Knight". Would love to see a movie adaptation of Fred Saberhagans novel "The Dracula Tapes". His Highness is alive and well, in the late 20th century, and he sets the record straight. He tells the world his side of the story. It's a good read. Check it out. | |

| Already have, my friend. As you know. Unfortunately, it's currently out of print and the available copies are heart stoppingly expensive. At least one of the later books in the series has been reprinted so there is hope for the entire run.
And I hope you'll read my book even though my hero has a slight taste for blood even if he isn't undead! | |
