Whatcha doin? III

I'm hoping the cat will come out and forgive me for taking her to the vet's today... She's been going a lot due to some problems, mainly her overactive thyroid.

She may dive bomb me in revenge... She is very active for her advanced years!! *DUCKS*

I've been reading about Miss Birdie and Moonie (my oldest daughter) and I were every happy when her latest health scare turned out to be something treatable. When she forgives you, give her a cuddle for us, please.

Thank you... She gave me quite a scare a couple of weeks ago. I will give her a cuddle for both of you... She's hanging around my husband at the moment, she's still pretty upset with me. Poor baby.

Aww... Poor baby!! Birdie doesn't mind the vet itself nowadays, it's the drive in the car she hates. Probably because I put her in the carrier while we're driving and I use a leash and harness while we're in the vet's building. While on the leash, she's able to explore and look around... She doesn't like the leash but likes it better than the carrier.

I'm going to go see if she forgave me yet. I hope so!!

ETA: My new avie is a picture of Birdie.

Yikes... Birdie will come out of the carrier if I open it up inside the car and then put the leash on her. The problem is she tries to get into the back seat or even out of the car... I lock the doors and keep them closed until I have a good grip on her.

Birdie was trained for the leash when she moved out of my parent's house and in with my now husband and his grandmother. She had been an indoor/outdoor cat for the first 11 years of her life and suddenly became a strictly indoor cat... After she ripped several screens trying to get out of the house, we decided to see if she would mind a harness and leash. She hated it but soon adjusted... She still despises it but will allow me to put it on her when we take her anywhere. I still get the dirtiest looks when I put it on her though.

And as much as I hate to, I'd better get going... It's almost 8:30 p.m. here and my son wants to go to bed.

lets see, i would do some catching up, but i haz to go work on my car. the breaks went out on me last night so the last 1/2 of my drive was intersting.

then i have to help JT work on his truck.

then i have to bottle beer.

this bloody weekend turned busy as hell with out expectation. ugh!!

well, the breaks are fixed. i think.

time to take a shower and hang out with Z a bit.

Yup.
64 sqft. Corn , Sugar Peas, beans, peppers, romaine lettuce, leaf lettuce, carrots , cantaloupes and watermellon on the outside and a vertical potato bed.

very cool, I am so impressed with how MUCH you can do in less space and with less water etc with the sq foot method -- I am going to do a small bed on the back (southern exposure) patio this year
