| I've been over at the IFGS forum site making a pest of myself. I'd been gone for over two years (nearly three) and I show up making suggestions and stirring things up. Thing is, someone needs to and the regulars on the forum don't seem inclined to do that. | |

| We've been to town and back. Skywise and Moonie took the cats out for a walk. Yes, stir-crazy kitties are NOT a good thing! Next winter will be different when we have the kitty yard built but right now, they are pretty much confined to quarters and that's making them nuts.
Now... I'm gonna get these snow boots off! They're heavy! | |

| Supposedly the dryer works so trying laundry again. Only one load this time until I know for sure things will dry  ....and it still doesn't dry. the thing tumbles and sounds like it should be but there is no heat. | |

| Yeah, but it's the complex's dryer and from what I've overheard the maintenance guy talking he is still waiting on news from the owners on whether or not to repair or buy a new one.
And he is as frustrated about it as we tenants. | |

| Finally tracked down the price on that doll. She's going for $100 on the official website. Normally, I wouldn't pay that much for a doll but since I intend to use her as a representation of Athena in her aspect as the Goddess of War, it's not unreasonable. Especially since I use various "fashion dolls" for that purpose.
Hey, I'm a known collector. I have Barbies and other 1/6 scale dolls all over the place. Someone sees a display of dolls representing the Olympic Pantheon and they think nothing of it. Just a another example of my creativity. Now I am going to HAVE to appropriately costume my OOAK Aphrodite, Artemis and Hermes!

| I've decided on which fantasy "costume" piece I'm going to make first. It will likely take a yard, maybe a yard and a half to make and I already have the fabric. The only drawback is that I've outgrown the pattern and it's out of print (like about 30+ years out of print!) so I'm going to have to dig out the old pattern, find something current that comes close and then start "fiddling" with it, something I'm very good at.
