I went to work Friday, no problem. At 2pm I get off work and go outside to snow and ice. Took 15 minutes to get the windshield defrosted, then finally left work. 1 mile from work a co-worker spun off the road into a ditch. It took me 20 minutes to go 3 miles. Finally came to the bridge that starts up the big hill I have to go over to get home and the steeper it got, the slower I got. My wheels started spinning and before I started sliding backwards I veered off into someone driveway. That was a big damn mistake cause there was enough snow that my ass couldn't go forward or in reverse. I was stuck. So I called a tow. While waiting for the tow, a coworker also started spinning their tires at the same place on the hill that I did so they backed up into the driveway and got in the SUV behind them (which was another coworker) and they made it up the hill no problem. Then behind the SUV was another coworker whose tires were spinning (the same ki that spun off the road a mile from work) so the guy behind him, which was yet another coworker used his front bumper to push the tail end of his truck up and over the hill. I, on the other hand, was stuck. I paid 60 bucks to my car out of the driveway and over the hill. It took me 2 1/2 hours to get home (it normally takes me 40 minutes). When I was pulling into my driveway, I couldn't make it all the way up because of the snow, so I let it slide back down onto the flat surface of my driveway and locked all the doors and got out and walked up to the house. No one can get into or out of my driveway and I couldn't get out to go to work this morning. Shitty damn weekend.
