OK so on my PC I am in the middle of something, and the whole computer goes into shutdown- not shutdown like the usual- more of a hibernation state, so there I am, just lost my page, my work, everything for now.
I turn off the screen. Turn it on. Nothing. I shut down with the emergency shutdown hoping not to lose anything -I do this by holding my finger on the button until the fan stops.
I switch off at the mains, and leave it off for one minute, so it gives the Motherboard or whatever time to cool down and recover.
I come back to it, switch it on, do everything like usual, putt in my access pass etc and wait for the thing to load up.
It loads a blue screen, then tells me to press bar or something to access some other place. I do as it says and it says restart windows normally in 10 press bar or something. So I push it (grrr) it starts up.
I am notified by firefox that if I want my previous session as it calls it back I have to click ok. I click OK and theres my pages. Phew nothing lost but time.
But still. It is so annoying- I have replaced the graphics card, re-instated windows, reuploaded ff, had the motherboard updated and all that. So why am I getting a blue screen- why is it just randomly without warning shutting off?
I am at a loss.
