Cats are funny

k, so i have this big black cat named Fosser right. and he usually sleeps with me.
so when hes sleeping me and i move a whole 2 inches he takes off running like the house is on fire but when im sat here at the computer he wont move a muscle even if im trying to stand up!?

cats are strange arent they!? lol

My big black cat, the War Queen, sleeps with us, usually either on my chest or she steals my pillow. I've finally reached the point where I keep an extra pillow beside the bed and when she starts putting her claws into my scalp in her sleep, I just scoot down in the bed and put the extra pillow under my head.
It's easier than trying to reclaim the pillow.
She also snores....

Fosser usually sleeps between my feet or my legs. but the little bugger cant get himself comfy until hes stepped on my groin atleast twice!

They always seem to know exactly where to step to get a reaction. The War Queen weighs over twelve pounds so when she puts her foot down, I know it! Especially if she has her claws out.... OUCHIE!!

gotta love those claws!! :laugh:
speaking of weight, i took Foss to the vet a couple weeks ago for his shots and it turns out hes lighter than i thought. i was guessing him to be between 16 and 18lbs but it turns out hes around 15lbs (well, 14.9lbs but that was a couple weeks ago, im sure hes put on more since then due to eating kitten food instead of adult cat food. lol)

That's a respectably sized kitty!

oh yeah! i tried to measure him with with a tape measure (soooo didnt work that great) but i got a rough estimate of him being between 32in and 36in head to tail. but like i said, thats just rough estimate as he wouldnt stay still! lol and from the ground to his back hes around a foot tall. he is a big kitty!

poor Tomas, hes attempting to show his male dominance around Fosser and is failing misserably!

of course, if i dont stop Fosser, Foss will kill him... it wouldnt be the first cat Fosser has killed.

OK, Salome, my 7.5 month old all black cat ( LOVE HER!!!) sleeps on my legs, I don't move in my sleep now.
Hobbes is a fluffy Himmie cat. He sleeps with my son, unless it is Saturday.. then he takes up most of my pillow with his poofy tail.
Phoebe, is 11.5 and an evil tabby- she is going to kill me. Knocked a lamp on me while I was sleeping and looked at me to let me know she did it! ( I bought cheap food- she does not like that)
Both of my dogs were raised by Phoebe and Hobbes. My old beagle would sleep with the cats and try to purr.. it was sooo sad- my Zim wants to play with them, and chases Hobbes. Salome and he are pals but if Phoebe enters the room- he hides in his crate.

Scarlet just sticks her paws up my nose to wake me up. She doesn't go for the subtle stepping on, she goes for the kill

OMGs!! she looks so much like Fosser it isnt even funny!!

i need to get some new pics of my kitters to post one of these days. lol

i dont even think i have a working camera other than my cheap ass webcam that takes shitty pics! lol

its about time to start Emmy and Tomas on the corrid regiment again... im sure theyll like it about as much as last time....

Fosser was around 7 or 8 months old in this pic.
its kinda hard to see how big he actually is cause of the shirt im wearing, but you can see his tail stuck out to the side. just remember, im 6 foot tall and around 195lbs.

well, since Foss is sat on my lap right now and the tape measure is here, i got an accurate measurement of his tail. it is exactly 12.5 inches long by itself. and he apparently didnt like me trying to measure him cause he just ran off....

not only are cats funny! theyre also useful! Tomas and Emmy have been in my shower pulling the hair outta the drain for me!

btw! i finally got an accurate measurement on Fosser! he is exactly 36 inches (or 3 feet) long head to tail!
